BASS WARRIOR TOUR, Vrutky. David Ellefson, co-founder of the American MEGADETH, kicked off an incredible evening at RC MLYN. This stellar thrash metal bassist played a more than an hour long set consisting of his own compositions as well as the world-famous hits he played recently as a member of MEGADETH. During the entire Bass Warrior Tour, he is accompanied by equally high-quality, if less well-known, musicians from Italy. On the solo guitar, even the most demanding parts were brilliantly played by the incredible Andy Martongelli, while he was seconded by another master of his craft, guitarist Walter Cianciusi. Titta Tani did a great job of singing, and Roberto Pirami provided machine-accurate rhythms behind the drums. The band set up in this way could not leave a single fan of thrash metal and especially the stellar MEGADETH, who played the biggest hits such as Countdown to extinction or Symphony of destruction. David Ellefson played alongside Megadeth as a guest on the recordings of famous colleagues such as Soulfly, Ministry or Gus G, or in various projects such as F5, The Lucid or Ellefson, which he recorded with guitarist Andy Martognelli and Jeff Scott Soto.
