Motorband, Jablunkov. In 1984, Motorband was founded in Teplice; the name is derived from the English Motörhead. The band's star was rising very quickly. The composition of the band has stabilized after two years: Kamil Střihavka (vocals), Libor "Máča" Matejčík (guitar) and two ex-members of the Hlahol group Tomáš Jarolím (bass guitar) and Daniel Hafstein (drums). They played speed metal and became a fixture of the Czech heavy metal scene, similar to Arakain or Vitacit. The highlights of this period are the Rockfest competition in Prague, where they played in the sports hall as finalists of the competition in front of 12,000 spectators, or Rockmap (1989) by Petra Janda with the song Je To Špás.
